5 Types of Solid Hardwood Flooring
Here at Ajax Flooring, we have the wealth of experience and breadth of stock to cater to the needs of anyone and any particular interior. The extensive range we offer includes many different types of hardwood flooring London and we realise that when confronted with such a vast amount of choice, it can be hard to choose which type suits you best. With this in mind we have compiled a list of the 5 different types of solid hardwood flooring London to help you make that decision:
Strip Flooring
We’ll start simple with the most conventional type of hardwood flooring – ‘Strip Flooring’ is the type most consumers are familiar with and we have all admired its smart appearance in someone else’s or our own home.
Consisting of long strips of wood that are installed a piece at a time, our strip flooring can provide a clean, neutral accompaniment to all styles of wall cladding and interior design.
Herringbone Flooring
Our Herringbone style of hardwood flooring can give your front room, hallway or even workplace a touch of Parisian class. Being a long-time traditional floor pattern used all across Europe and in many French Chateaus, we can install this style with or without a border.
Adding more character to a floor but still being understated, we will install this in different configurations (parallel to the room’s walls or diagonally), according to your preferences.
Parquet Flooring
Make your new hardwood flooring the centre piece of any room with this eye-catching style! Made up of various intricate patterns of your choosing, parquet flooring can really add more luxury to your interior and makes a great talking-point.
Unfinished
All of the above types of solid hardwood flooring are available from us ‘unfinished’ or in its natural state – meaning that there is no stain or clear finish applied to the wood.
Finished
Of course the opposite of unfinished – arriving from us completely polished and, well – finished.
As you can see, we cover all the bases when it comes to finding your hardwood flooring London and our experience that spans over 50 years comes into play to give you the right advice on which floor would suit your interior, as well as the skilled work to ensure it is fitted properly.
